I'm exactly what Microsoft preaches. I've worked for large non-technical departments, and I've seen the need for fast development from the ground up. A lack of software developers means a vacuum for solutions for everyday employees. So, either the inefficiencies stay unfixed, or the holes are filled by random employee created solutions which are messy, inconsistent, and not supported.
I started working with PowerPlatform several years ago, and saw the power that could be delivered to the hands of departments large and small. Given only the tools of the PowerPlatform, when combined with SharePoint or Dataverse ( & Dataverse for teams), departments large and small, put the tools in the hands of stakeholders.
Training and Instructional design
For the last 5+ years, I've had the distinct pleasure to have been designing training for a department of 800+ entry level positions. I've been able to fine tune my understanding of the challenges faced by adult learners in a fast paced, quickly changing, highly regulated healthcare environment. Especially, as the audience of learners encompass employees fresh out of k-12, college students, adults in secondary jobs, international employees, and employees with diverse access needs.
As a development team of one, I was in charge of SME communication, project design, content creation (still and motion graphics), training creation, implementation, and review/redesign.

Everything starts with communication, so I consider myself a permanent student. Over the last few years, working with a department the size of a small company, I am attuned to ensuring communication and clarity as projects move forward.
It's not just communication, or even clear communication. I believe the first sentences in a conversation often create the tone for the entire conversation, especially in a world where they can happen across multiple media types and peripherals.
